Bella Brodsky

Founder & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

With intersecting passions of ecological storytelling and communication, small-scale farming, and community care, Bella has found herself creating in a variety of spaces. Through her love for thoughtful conversations, meaningful relationships, and creative visuals, she built Sage from the ground up.

When not working on a 2-acre veggie farm, running Sage, and pursing a Masters in Food Systems at University of Vermont, you can find her backpacking with friends, cooking homemade meals, or swimming in the rivers of Vermont.

Growing up in vibrant and nourishing communities in Southern Vermont, Carina is so excited to continue to learn from and experience new communities through writing and being apart of Sage Magazine. Carina spends most of her time with kiddos as a nature mentor, exploring and understanding the places we live in. She loves to gather over food, spend time in new places, and find wonder in & connection to the things around her.

Clara Feldman

Jonas Camera

INTERN

Born and raised in Amherst, Massachusetts. Inspired by his love of food and cooking and his anthropological curiosity, Jonas is a senior in the food systems program at UVM. He grew up playing in the forests and rivers of Western Massachusetts and Vermont, and continues to do so through fly fishing and snowboarding. At Sage, he is excited to connect with likeminded people and help share their stories as well as contribute to some cooking content.
