OUR INTENTIONS

Sage is a grassroots print publication, community, and collective rooted in regeneration and reciprocity and centered around voices from the outdoors, activism platforms and creative spaces. Through vehicles of storytelling, artistic visuals and conversations, the ethos of Sage focuses on healing our relationship with Earth, cultivating a reciprocal relationship with our ecosystem, uplifting local communities and those within it, and nurturing responsible stewards of the land. Through the work we do, Sage amplifies historically excluded voices and wisdom and fosters an ecosystem of storytellers, makers and artisans, activists and changemakers, farmers and growers, thinkers, healers, and writers.

We believe that intentional storytelling and empathy-rooted conversations have the power to be tools to work towards a holistic future of regeneration, reciprocity, and nourishment for all. To build a people powered movement for change, we must uplift one another.

Mainstream media often lacks representation and excludes voices. Here at Sage we work to amplify historically excluded voices and to foster an inclusive, diverse, joy filled, community and publication. Our intentions are rooted in healing our relationship with Earth, because we are part of our ecosystem, not above or separate.

WHY WE ARE CROWDFUNDING

Sage is truly a community driven publication — we wouldn’t be here without you. Here at Sage, we work with a circular business model where all funds coming in go directly back into supporting our business. In order to bring issue 06 to life and sustain our grassroots publication for the future, we have decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign. We are partnering with our friends over at Skida, Package Free Shop, Beaten Path Co., and Anastasia Inciardi Prints to send you some rad products to show our gratitude for your donation!
